Build a simple photo style
An aesthetic DP uses light, color, and space to create a mood. You do not need a new camera. Start with a clear photo and one main subject.
Choose a small color palette
A palette is a group of colors used together. Try cream and brown for a warm look. Try pale blue and white for a cool look. Use these as ideas, not rules. Strong filters can hide texture and skin detail.
Use soft light
Stand near a window or in open shade. Turn until the light falls gently across your subject. Avoid a bright lamp directly above your face. For a silhouette, place the bright sky behind the subject.
Leave some empty space
Empty space around a subject is called negative space. It can make a photo feel calm. A flower against a plain wall or a person against the sky can work well. Keep the main subject large enough to recognize.
Protect the composition
Composition means where things sit in a photo. A tight crop can remove the space you planned. Use the DP converter and its Fit full photo in circle button. Check the circle before saving. You can add blur or a plain background around the image.
Check the final result
View the photo at a small size. Can you still see the subject? Is the filter too strong? Does the circle hide an important detail? For more subject ideas, visit the DP ideas guide.
